1.Performance comparison, introduction of two-layer composite membrane
Soft packaging composite films are generally composed of the outer layer (printing/ strength) + the middle layer (barrier/ enhancement) + the inner layer (heat sealing/ food contact).
Below, they are sorted by "Common Combination Structure Characteristics Applicable Scenarios", with key parameters (oxygen barrier, temperature resistance, strength) directly provided for easy selection.

3.Quick Selection Suggestions
General food/daily necessities: PET/PE or BOPP/PE
Frozen/with bone fragments: PA/PE
Tea/biscuits/mid-range preservation: PET/VMPET/PE
Long-term preservation/high barrier/shade protection: PET/AL/PE
High-temperature boiling/ready-to-eat food: PET/AL/CPP
Transparent + high barrier/for microwave: PA/EVOH/PE

4.Two-layer composite membrane
1)PET/PE
Characteristics: High gloss and transparency, extremely clear printing; Excellent moisture resistance, average oxygen barrier; Resistant to scratching and wear, good stretch, suitable for low-temperature use: ordinary snacks, candies, small general merchandise, clothing bags, daily necessities packaging
Visual: Fully transparent, smooth surface, no strong glossy mirror-like effect;
Touch: Soft and thick, with a good meaty feel, feels soft and resilient when pinched
Auditory: Rubbing sound is low and deep, silent and soft, with almost no cracking sound

2) BOPP/CPP
Characteristics: Superior heat resistance to PE, excellent oil resistance; strong heat sealing, excellent moisture-proof performance, average oxygen barrier;
Applications: Cookies, jewelry, dried fruits, daily care bags.
Appearance: Transparent and clear, with a mirror-like high gloss surface; the printed colors are particularly bright;
Touch: Moderately stiff and smooth, feels firm and not soft and saggy;
Sound: The sound produced by rubbing is crisp and slightly brittle.

3) BOPP/PE (Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene/Polyethylene)
Characteristics: High transparency, vivid printing, lowest cost; Good moisture-proof performance, slightly weaker than PET; Good tensile strength, resistant to rubbing.
Applications: Low-temperature sterilization bags, snacks, dry goods, expanded food.
Visual: High transparency, extremely low foggy effect, light and transparent.
Touch: Slightly softer than cPP, lightweight, flexible and not stiff.
Auditory: The sound of rubbing is mild and soft, not as harsh as CPP.

4) PA/PE (nylon/polyethylene)
Characteristics: Extremely strong anti-puncture ability, resistant to tearing, resistant to low temperatures (-40°C); moderately oxygen-blocking, generally moisture-proof; soft, shock-resistant.
Applications: Frozen food, meat with bone spines, vacuum-packed products, sharp objects.
Visual: Semi-soft transparency, with a slight foggy appearance, high-end matte texture;
Touch: Soft and strong, good extensibility, when pinched, it has great resilience and is not likely to be broken;
Auditory: When rubbed, the sound is dull and thick, completely not brittle.
